Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: to be confirmed before launch
No More Moving Out is designed for young people who may face barriers, so we want the site to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to meet the WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines.
Accessibility features on this site
- Text size & high contrast — use the accessibility button (bottom-left of every page) to enlarge text or switch on a high-contrast mode. Your choice is remembered.
- Keyboard friendly — you can navigate with the keyboard, and a “Skip to content” link appears when you press Tab.
- Readable by design — clear font, generous text size, colour combinations chosen for contrast, and descriptive text for images and icons.
- No account needed — nothing is hidden behind a sign-up, and your progress is saved automatically.
- Downloadable materials — reading, exercises and quizzes are available as documents you can open in your own tools.
Known limitations
Some content is provided by third parties and may not be fully accessible: embedded lesson presentations (Google Slides) and downloadable documents (Word/PDF). Where a presentation is hard to use, the same material is available as a downloadable reading. We are working to improve these.
